This basic kit contains the quality double sided PC Boards and the special three pin stand-off to mount the Audio pot board.

The Audio board has provisions to add two 805 resistors in series with the pot for a T pad attenuator. The lay-out will also fit two different size pots. Ideal for the experimenter.

This board set has both Yaesu type CAT level conversion and PTT control from a single serial port. It also has provisions for a poly fuse to protect the radio's 12V accessory output. It also has the best sound card interface features like input and output audio isolation transformers. You can purchase the board set and not use the audio isolation transformers if you care not to use one or both. The points on the board can be shorted if you don't want isolation. Shielded Mini DIN jacks for the 8 and 6 pin connectors can be used if desired. Or simply solder your cables to the board and bypass the jacks.

This circuit board set is designed to fit in a 2 1/2" X 2 1/2" x 1" Hammond plastic box. The audio pot mini board and header is designed to save board space and raise the pot adjustment to just inside the top of the case for easy adjustment..

You may want to build the project your own way or for a different radio. You can build without using the mini DIN jacks and wire direct to your plugs. You may want to build with no CAT converter circuit.
